So We Went To Hawaii.

Two weeks ago, we made a quick trip to Hawaii to welcome our good friend home from Afghanistan. He is one of my husband's best friend and has become one of mine as well. When Z was injured and sent to DC, W caught a flight-along with the rest of the boys-and was by Z's side. Since being stationed in Hawaii, he still made a tremendous and honorable effort to be there for us. Every break and leave, I felt like he was at Walter Reed with us, puppy sitting Sadie so Z and I could have a few hours of alone time, or staying with us when Z was released.

Over the last year when W was deployed, we prayed for him every night at dinner and when we got the text that he had finally landed back in the US, we were more than relieved. Z and I made it a priority to fly to Hawaii to welcome him home even if it was just a 4 day trip because he means that much to us.

So WELCOME HOME AGAIN, W and THANKS AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL TRIP!
